The International Academic Seminar on \u201cAnalysis and Prospects of the Situation in Central and Eastern Europe\u201d was successfully held in Budapest on May 16, 2025. The seminar was hosted by the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and organized by the China-CEE Institute in Hungary.<\/p>\n

In his speech, Prof. Feng Zhongping, Director of the Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), also President of China-CEE Institute, said that the current international situation is intertwined with changes and chaos, the century-old changes are accelerating, the game between major powers continues to intensify, geopolitical conflicts are frequent. The world is at a critical crossroads. In recent years, Europe has faced political polarization, economic downturn, and security difficulties, and the challenges of foreign relations have increased. In the face of changes in the world and Europe, China continues to regard Europe as an important direction of China\u2019s major power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and an important partner for realizing China-style modernization. The strategic importance of China-Europe cooperation has become increasingly prominent. China\u2019s cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries is an important part of China-Europe relations and is increasingly becoming a model of cross-regional cooperation. This seminar is of great significance as China and the European Union celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two sides.<\/p>\n

Albania\u2019s positioning in 2025 and relations with China<\/strong><\/p>\n

N\u00eb seminar, Dr. Marsela Musabelliu, Drejtore Ekzekutive e Institutit Shqiptar p\u00ebr Studime t\u00eb Globalizimit (AIGS), mbajti nj\u00eb fjalim mbi dinamikat e brendshme t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb dhe zhvillimin e marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnieve t\u00eb saj t\u00eb jashtme, me nj\u00eb fokus t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb n\u00eb lidhjet Shqip\u00ebri-Kin\u00eb. Fjalimi ishte ndar\u00eb n\u00eb dy shtylla tematike\u2014konteksti i brendsh\u00ebm i Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb dhe diplomacia e saj ndaj Kin\u00ebs\u2014ku Dr. Musabelliu paraqiti nj\u00eb portret t\u00eb nuancuar t\u00eb nj\u00eb vendi q\u00eb p\u00ebrballet me tranzicion, ambicie dhe pasiguri strategjike.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb nisje t\u00eb fjal\u00ebs s\u00eb saj, Dr. Musabelliu vuri n\u00eb dukje zgjedhjet parlamentare t\u00eb fundit n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, ku Partia Socialiste fitoi nj\u00eb \u201csuper shumic\u00eb\u201d, nj\u00eb arritje e rrall\u00eb politike q\u00eb i jep asaj nj\u00eb fuqi legjislative t\u00eb pakrahasueshme p\u00ebr kat\u00ebr vitet e ardhshme.\nMegjith\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb konsolidim politik, Shqip\u00ebria p\u00ebrballet me sfida serioze ekonomike dhe demografike. Me nj\u00eb popullsi prej vet\u00ebm 2.4 milion\u00eb banor\u00ebsh, nj\u00eb mosh\u00eb mesatare prej 39 vjet\u00ebsh dhe nj\u00eb Prodhim t\u00eb Brendsh\u00ebm Bruto p\u00ebr frym\u00eb prej rreth 8,500 dollar\u00eb, ekonomia e vendit mb\u00ebshtetet kryesisht n\u00eb sektorin e sh\u00ebrbimeve, q\u00eb p\u00ebrb\u00ebn mbi 65% t\u00eb prodhimit total.<\/p>\n

Dr. Musabelliu trajtoi gjithashtu ndjenj\u00ebn komplekse q\u00eb mbizot\u00ebron rreth marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnieve t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb me Bashkimin Evropian dhe Shtetet e Bashkuara.<\/p>\n

Turning to China, Dr. Musabelliu underscored the nature of bilateral ties, shaped by political hesitation and geopolitical pressure. Despite China\u2019s growing global stature and its continued investment in Central and Eastern Europe through the China-CEEC mechanism, Albania remains a reluctant participant.<\/p>\n

Megjith\u00ebse ka ng\u00ebr\u00e7e politike, Dr. Musabelliu vuri n\u00eb dukje mir\u00ebkuptimin e q\u00ebndruesh\u00ebm midis popujve shqiptar dhe kinez. \u201cKujtesa kolektive e shqiptar\u00ebve e ruan Kin\u00ebn si nj\u00eb mike q\u00eb ka ndihmuar n\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira, dhe kjo ndjenj\u00eb tejkalon ciklet politike,\u201d shtoi ajo.<\/p>\n

Fjalimin e saj, Dr. Musabelliu e p\u00ebrfundoi me nj\u00eb thirrje p\u00ebr nj\u00eb rishikim t\u00eb kujdessh\u00ebm.
